Since 1971, Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery has been an iconic landmark in the Curry Ford West district of Orlando. Today was a special treat indeed! Mayor Buddy Dyer proclaimed today, February 23rd as Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery Day! He and Commissioner Patty Sheehan recognized Charlie’s 50th Anniversary and cut the ribbon to celebrate its grand re-opening. This will be a day to celebrate and commemorate every year!
New owner, Tricia Hage and her family recently took over the ownership of the iconic bakery. After the new year they remodeled and updated the storefront creating a new look along with some new offerings, including super premium ice cream. They are committed to keeping the bakery’s history and keeping it a sweet place to visit for generations to come.
