“It is without saying that Charlie’s has been a landmark and a tradition to this community. Our family has known and loved Charlie’s since its inception in the 1970’s,” said Hage. “We look toward the future with some new additions, traditions, and family recipes of our own. Our family has been a part of this community for over 75 years. The Hage family has been small business owners for generations in the Greater Orlando area and we are excited to carry on that legacy.”
There have been generations of local business owners throughout the Hage family but just down the road Tricia’s husband Troy’s father was one of the three brothers of Brother’s 3 located on Curry Ford in the Conway Publix shopping center in the 1970’s and 80’s. If you are a longtime Conway resident, you more than likely purchased your Levi’s at Brother’s 3 not to mention suits and fashion for men and women. This family has loved serving this community long before Charlie’s and they are now thrilled to have a storefront once again in the Curry Ford West district. We are so excited and proud that Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery will continue to carry on a rich history that is deeply rooted in this community and will continue to sweeten the lives of those we serve for generations to come!
